Reb Marcia embodies all those qualities that leaders and mensches should embody: kindness, generosity, humility -- while also being a true inspiration to others, always nudging us to be our best and try our hardest. Her heart is tethered, like a balloon, to the fate of the Jewish people, and it's impossible to be around her and not also become swept away. Thank you, Marcia, for being a rabbi not just of Am Israel, but being a rabbi's rabbi, too. It is an honor to know you and call you "friend."
